Cara Instal PHP Composer di Linux Mint dan Ubuntu

Tutorial ini akan menjelaskan cara menginstal dan mengkonfigurasi composer PHP di Linux Mint ataupun Ubuntu.

Pastikan kalian mempunyai akses sudo  ke system yang akan di install dan juga versi PHP 5.3 atau lebih tinggi.

Instal PHP Composer di Linux Mint & Ubuntu

Untuk menginstal PHP composer pada sistem Linux Mint & Ubuntu. Kita hanya perlu mengunduh composer yang dapat dieksekusi dan meletakkannya di bawah direktori bin.

Sekarang gunakan perintah berikut untuk membuat composer agar bisa berjalan secara global untuk semua pengguna di sistem kalian, yang dapat digunakan untuk semua aplikasi PHP pada sistem.

sudo mv composer.phar /usr/local/bin/composer
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/composer

Setelah instal composer berhasil. Ketik composer pada terminal. Ini akan memberi informasi detail versi composer bersama dengan opsi yang tersedia dengan perintah composer.

  archive              Creates an archive of this composer package.

  check-platform-reqs  Check that platform requirements are satisfied.
  clear-cache          Clears composer's internal package cache.
  clearcache           Clears composer's internal package cache.
  config               Sets config options.
  create-project       Creates new project from a package into given directory.
  depends              Shows which packages cause the given package to be installed.
  diagnose             Diagnoses the system to identify common errors.
  dump-autoload        Dumps the autoloader.
